What is Adoption?
Adoption is an act adopted; adopted. Adopt is to take into one's family (children from the other parent), mainly due to formal legal action. It can also mean legal action assumes the parent of a child who does not belong to itself.

There are some doubts about the strength of family love for an adopted child. Several studies by the Evan Donaldson Institute showed more evidence of this.

Nearly a third of people questioned believe the adopted child is less controlled, more painful, and will easily addicted to drugs and alcohol.

Also, 40 - 50 percent think it might be adopted to have behavior problems at school. But adoptive parents are described by nearly 90 percent as "lucky, advantaged, and unselfish".
